Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus Review: Amazing True Wireless Earbuds

Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus Review

9/10 Nearly Perfect

The Main Point

I loved making our Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus Review, because these true wireless earbuds are just amazing. They have so many cool features, and the sound quality is great. It would be difficult to run these things out of battery, too. These earbuds are even extremely comfortable, and the only thing that I wish they had is active noise cancellation.

  • Extremely comfortable and small
  • Amazing battery life
  • Many color options
  • Tons of features
  • Great Price

The Bad

  • No active noise cancellation

True wireless earbuds are great. They allow you to walk around and listen to audio without being tethered to anything. And, Samsung makes some of the best true wireless earbuds that you can get. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus are no exception to that, either. These wireless earbuds are amazing, and they aren’t too expensive. The Samsung Galaxy Buds are definitely one of the best pairs of true wireless earbuds that I have tried.

Features

These tiny little true wireless earbuds have a ton of different features. Most of the features are very good, too, so that is one of the main reasons that these earbuds are great.

Sound Quality

Of course, we have to start off with what is probably the most important aspect of earbuds: sound quality. And, when it comes to sound quality, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus definitely don’t disappoint. These true wireless earbuds have amazing sound quality. If you love bass, these earbuds definitely won’t disappoint, but even if you aren’t as big of a fan of bass, these earbuds still have clear mids and highs. In my opinion, these earbuds have some of the best quality on any true wireless earbuds.

Comfort

Another important quality is comfort, and these earbuds are great when it comes to that, too. They have three different options for eartips and wing-tips, and they are all quite comfortable. If you don’t like the wing-tips, one of the three options for them is just flat. These earbuds are also quite light, making them very comfortable to wear. Overall, these earbuds are insanely comfortable.

Build Quality/Design

These true wireless earbuds are also built quite well, and they are very strong. I don’t think that you would have any problems with the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus breaking, unless you throw them or something. Also, these earbuds are very small, and you can’t notice them in your ears too much. They come in 4 different colors: black, red, blue, white, and there is even a BTS design.

Battery Life

The Battery Life on the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus is also very good. According to Samsung’s claims, each earbud can last up to 11 hours each, and the charging case can give you up to 11 more. I just have to believe that these claims are close to correct, because I haven’t managed to run them out of battery yet. I wouldn’t worry too much about running these things out of battery if I were you.

Charging Case

The charging case for the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus is also very good. It is built quite strong, looks great and can easily fit in your pocket. This case can also give you up to 11 hours more of battery life, and has multiple led charging indicators.

Software

Samsung doesn’t always have the best software, but the Galaxy Wearable app is pretty good. In it, you can change what the tap and hold function does, connect to multiple different Samsung devices and adjust the audio to a few different sound presets. This app is also how you connect the earbuds to your phone, and the connectivity range is very good. I went around my whole house without my phone, and I wasn’t able to loose connection.

Active Noise Cancellation

Now, we have reached the one thing that I dislike when it comes to these earbuds. Sadly, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus don’t have active noise cancellation. They do have a software mode where you can turn on ambient sound, but it still isn’t active noise cancellation. For the price, I wish that they did, but considering that they are cheaper than many of the true wireless earbuds that do have active noise cancellation, it isn’t that bad.

Price

Not only are the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus a great pair of true wireless earbuds, but they also have a great price. At the time of this review, these true wireless earbuds cost only $110, which is much less than AirPods, which are their main competitor. The fact that you can get a pair of true wireless earbuds that are this good for only $110 is amazing. The only reason to ever get a pair of true wireless earbuds more expensive than these is for the active noise cancellation. Also, if there is a new model, you might want to upgrade. Even though these earbuds don’t have active noise cancellation, at least they still block out sound really well.
